A Trisomy 18 Journey

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. -- Vivian Greene

Week 3

Cohen is growing well and slowly having longer awake times!  We are enjoying some sleepy smiles and anxiously awaiting some wakeful grins! Cohen attended his first soccer game, which he slept through soundly. We'll see how he handles tee ball this weekend!

Mr. Cohen looks so big! His eyes and hair look dark in the top right photo, are they? What did you use to make your collage? It looks great! Boy, he does have open hands. Its so sweet. Our Ruby still has closed fists most of the time. It does sometimes remind me of little Julia like you mentioned in your last post.

I just saw your blog link on Small Bird Studios and thought "hmm, I didn't think I had entered." Some wild coincidences here....my blog is ALSO called "Dancing in the Rain"...our son passed away due to trisomy 18 at 19 weeks 2 days gestation. I had absolutely NO idea your blog existed...and you clearly had your title first. I hope you won't mind if I dance in the rain with you :)

Much Love from NC...fellow T18 parent...and fellow rain dancer! ;)

What a gorgeous big boy Cohen is. I wonder how the kids are adapting?
